We depart from Durban at 8.00am and head off to Phezulu Safari Park for a game drive and a Zulu African cultural experience and Zulu dancing. We fit a lunch break in between. Phezulu Safari Park Situated in the valley of a thousand hills, Phezulu Safari Park is a very popular destination. You will join a guided 4×4 game drive through the private game reserve in the Valley of a Thousand Hills, with scenic views and wildlife sightings. Typical animals spotted include: giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, impala, blesbok and various bird species. This will be followed by Zulu Dance & Cultural Experience. Zulu dance shows are performed by the world-renowned Gasa clan. You’ll see traditional attire, energetic dancing, rhythmic drumming, and storytelling through performance. Finally, you will do a Reptile Park Tour. Nguni Cafe onsite offers meals with panoramic views over the Valley of a Thousand Hills. You can also browse local curio shops, investigate a traditional shield-making workshop, or relax with kids in play areas — part of the day experience rather than just focusing on the safari aspects.
