Depart Durban at 6am and travel via Pietermaritzburg and Howick to the Drakensberg Mountains. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided foot hike through this rugged mountain range.
After the hike, depart the Drakensberg at around 12 noon to return to Durban.
The Drakensberg Mountains stretch over 1,000 kilometers along South Africa's eastern border with Lesotho. The highest peak reaches 3,482 meters (11,423 feet).
