Description

Begin your safari at 5 am, entering Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve via Nyalazi Gate. Start with a 3.5-hour morning game drive on the Imfolozi side in a Hyundai H1 luxury van with large openable windows, ideal for photography. The southern sector features flat open plains and frequent elephant and rhino sightings.

Pause for lunch at Hilltop Restaurant (own expense), where you can enjoy panoramic views of the reserve and test your binocular skills.

In the afternoon, spend another 3.5 hours exploring the Hluhluwe side of the park, watching for endangered African wild dogs and big cats. The tour concludes around 4 pm with your return to Durban.

All guests receive high-end Zeiss Terra ED 8x42 binoculars and multilingual safari guidebooks in English, German, or French. The vehicle offers comfort but is not an open safari truck.
