Next, visit Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve, South Africa’s oldest park established in 1895. Covering over 98,000 hectares, it includes two reserves: Hluhluwe in the north and Imfolozi in the south. The reserve is home to the Big Five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhinoceros) and hosts diverse bird and animal species across hilly savannah landscapes.
The park is internationally recognized for White Rhino conservation, supported by the Centenary Capture Centre, which specializes in animal capture, rehabilitation, and sustainable ecotourism research. After the game drives, return to Durban by road.
