Description
This open game drive safari takes place in South Africa's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, iSimangaliso Wetland Park, and suits wildlife enthusiasts exploring from St Lucia.
The tour begins with an 8:00am pickup from St Lucia, followed by a brief introduction before entering the park. Explore various loop roads, outcrops, and lookout points while spotting abundant wildlife.
Search for Africa's Big 4 game animals: leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and Cape buffalo. You may also see waterbuck, impala, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, reedbuck, chameleon, giraffe, and hyena.
The safari includes a stop at Cape Vidal, a protected bay and beach. Time allows for snorkeling or swimming in the surrounding waters (weather and tide permitting). A picnic lunch is included on the full day option only.
Enjoy views of the highest vegetative dunes on the African continent along with numerous scenic photo opportunities throughout the day.
