Options in KZN
Durban
Options in KZN is a compact full-colour booklet that features a selection of some of the many fine attractions, including Shopping and Dining opportunities, that are available to visitors both in the City of Durban, the hub of the Greater eThekweni Metropolitan Area, as well as the other seven uniquely diverse tourism regions of this beautiful Province.
The publication is distributed free to the approximately 500 member establishments of the KwaBaba Bed and Breakfast Association which is affiliated to the National Accommodation Association (NAASA). The KwaBaba Bed and Breakfast Association is an alliance of premier Bed and Breakfasts, Guesthouses and Lodges that are situated across these eight tourism regions of the Province, assuring guests of quality accommodation wherever they choose to stay.
Options in KZN’s dual role lists all of these accommodation establishments, along with contact details, and also provides visitors with a selection of some of the fine attractions available that make KwaZulu-Natal probably the most ecologically and culturally diverse of all of the country’s nine Provinces.
It plays host to virtually every attraction that one could hope for; glorious weather, sundrenched beaches and warm tropical waters, majestic mountains, beautiful lakes, rivers and dams, indigenous forests, rolling hills alive with breathtaking flora, a raft of traditional and cultural attractions including historical battlefields, game reserves that are home to a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five as well as picturesque villages and vibrant towns and cities.
Add to this mix two magnificent World Heritage Sites in the shape of the uKhahlamba/Drakensberg Park on the KwaZulu-Natal/Lesotho border and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park on the northern shores of the Province and visitors are presented with a bag of options that can really complicate any decision-making.
