Cloud 9 Umhlanga

Cloud 9 Umhlanga is a sports bar on McCausland Crescent in uMhlanga, offering a social setting for sports enthusiasts, friends and groups who want to follow games while enjoying food and drinks. The venue’s identity centres on sport, conversation and a lively bar atmosphere rather than a formal dining style.

Sports viewing is the main reason to visit. Cloud 9 provides a place for guests to gather around live sporting action, cheer for their teams and share the occasion with friends. The atmosphere is suited to game-day meet-ups, casual socialising and occasions where the sport on screen is as important as the food and drinks being enjoyed.

The drinks offering includes cocktails prepared by the bar team, alongside the broader selection of drinks expected in a sports-bar setting. Food is also part of the experience, although the venue’s public description does not centre on a particular cuisine or signature dish style. Cloud 9 is therefore best approached as a casual sports-and-drinks venue rather than a destination defined by a specific restaurant menu.

Its setting in Umhlanga makes it an option for local residents, visitors staying in the area and sports fans looking for a meeting point in Durban. The address is 7 McCausland Crescent, uMhlanga, 4319, South Africa. The venue’s character is informal and energetic, with the focus on shared viewing, bar service and the atmosphere created when a game brings people together.

Cloud 9 suits friends planning a relaxed sports outing, groups looking for a place to watch a match and guests who enjoy a bar environment with food, drinks and cocktails. The venue can also suit casual gatherings that do not revolve around a particular event, provided the sports-bar setting matches the occasion. For current arrangements, including contact, hours and any visit-specific queries, Cloud 9 can be reached on 081 614 5266 or at info@cloud9umhlanga.co.za.
