Waxy O'Connors Sunningdale

Waxy O’Connors Sunningdale brings an Irish pub atmosphere to Shop 108/109 at Sunningdale Shopping Centre on 1 Village Way, Sunningdale, Durban. The venue combines a relaxed place to unwind with a menu based on Irish-inspired food, robust portions and familiar pub dining.

The pub’s character centres on conviviality, shared drinks and an easygoing setting where meals can be enjoyed alongside music. Guinness has a central place on the drinks list, with ale and other beverages also forming part of the experience. The style suits diners looking for a casual meal, a drink with friends or an informal meeting place within the shopping centre.

Food is presented as hearty Irish-influenced pub fare rather than formal dining. The menu provides a choice for guests seeking a substantial meal while the bar adds the traditional pub element of pints, conversation and relaxed socialising. The combination makes the venue suitable for catching up over food, settling in for drinks or enjoying an unhurried evening with a group.

Waxy O’Connors Sunningdale is part of a wider Irish pub concept, but the branch remains firmly located in the Sunningdale neighbourhood. Its setting inside Sunningdale Shopping Centre offers a straightforward meeting point for nearby residents and visitors to the area. The venue’s focus on food, music and drinks gives it a flexible role, from a casual meal to a social gathering.

Reservations and general enquiries can be directed to the Sunningdale branch before a visit. The venue provides a contact number and email address for bookings, including enquiries relating to its regular Wednesday offering. Menu choices, seating requirements and dietary questions can also be raised with the branch directly so that arrangements are clear before arrival.
