Advantage Tours Durban, a whale-watching tour operator, situated on Wilsons' Wharf in the Durban Harbour, invites you to share a marine experience that is out of this world. The Company, one of a limited number of legal tour operators that are licensed to conduct boat-based dolphin and whale-watching cruises in KwaZulu Natal, will take you on a voyage of discovery to uncover the mysteries of the whale migrations that take place in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.

From the beginning of June until December, Humpback Whales pass through these subtropical waters, which are warmed by the Mozambican Current. Advantage Tours are authorised to come within 50 metres of these curious gently giants. A close encounter is a magical experience and will always be cherished as one of those unforgettable moments that life presents.

Durban is the country's third largest city and it has the biggest harbour on the African continent. With its ideal climate, this multicultural port city lends itself to marine activities.
